Attorney Mark A. Saunders
Mark A. Saunders provides general business and corporate counsel to a variety of business and individual clients. Mark’s services range from entity selection and formation to assisting with capitalization, employment counseling, and handling the acquisition or sale of a business. Mark also represents lenders and borrowers in commercial transactions. Prior to joining SDRS, Mark had been a partner in another prominent Burlington, Vermont law firm where he worked for fifteen years, after beginning his career in private practice in Washington, D.C. Mark has served as adjunct faculty at St. Michael’s College and as Chair of the Business Association Law Committee of the Vermont Bar Association. As Chair, Mark drafted and testified on several pieces of legislation in the Vermont Legislature and represented Vermont at the American Bar Association’s Business Bar Leaders Conference. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in political science/economics, summa cum laude, from Potsdam College of Arts and Sciences in 1983 and a J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1986.
