Attorney Andrew N. Raubvogel
Andrew N. Raubvogel practices in the fields of environmental, energy, and administrative law, concentrating on permitting, renewable energy projects, land use development, water pollution, contaminated properties, and electric utility regulation. Through his practice, Andy seeks to help clients achieve their objectives through a close understanding of regulatory systems and governmental decisionmaking at the local, state, and federal levels. Andy served as General Counsel to the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, and as its administrative litigation counsel from 1996-2002. Previously, Andy worked as a staff attorney for the Vermont Department of Public Service, served on the Board of the Burlington Electric Commission, and worked for five years as a regional attorney for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency handling Superfund negotiations and litigation. Andy received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and a B.S. in environmental policy from the University of Michigan.

I feel passionate about creating a healthy and sustainable world for my children and others, and to work with businesses and groups that share that vision. Collaboration within SDRS is also a major plus - we share ideas, team up on cases, and generally complement each others' skills on many cases, large and small.
